The Concrete Surf

I was introduced to skateboarding around age 10 and have ever since had an interest in it. Skateboarding was more than just a sport or past time, it seem to come with it an entire culture. A culture of Punk music, pizza, dumb jokes and not really giving a damn what others thought about it. I tried to capture some of the excitement and lifestyle of skateboarding and BMX in these pictures.

I learned that its hard to shoot low key photo's without making my photo's blurry, but increasing my shutter speed helps but tis tricky becasue they can get too dark.

I learned that Lightroom is actually pretty user friendly if you know what your looking for. I also learned that it can only do so much to better an image, It can make a crappy picture look a little better, but it cant make a crappy picture look amazing. It sure can make an amazing picture look pretty crappy though.
